Ahh
Clampede. The story
of Boston's favorite hard rock band began
in 2003 when guitarist/vocalist Brian
Jurkiewicz and fellow guitarist Frank
Remick, bored of the tired local music
scene of Nirvana clones and techno drones,
combined their metal and hard rock influences
to form the mighty Clampede. In July 2004,
the band released a five-song demo rife
with grinding riffs and manic lyrics. Soon
after, the band played their first gig
at TT the Bear's Place in Cambridge. 2004
brought their first EP "Tumbleweed" --
adding a broader and darker element to
their previous cuts.
With
new bass player Alex Lynch and drummer
Dylan "T-Can" Tyson
giving Clampede a solid rhythm section,
the band started popping up at Boston hotspots
such as The Middle East, O'Brien's, Copperfields
and a slew of other joints. With a new
album in the works and a summer full of
promising shows, Clampede is priming themselves
for world domination. Or at least small-town
invasion.
"If you're ready for some straight-up f*cking rock, then you have to check
out Clampede. These guys have been tearing
up stages and rocking crowds since 2003, and are definitely worth checking out.
Clampede has proven themselves worthy of recognition"

Hey! Check out Dylan's low-budget
zombie horror/comedy flick, The
Color of Cannibals. "When
the living dead attack a small town
in Maine, the fate of the world rests
in the hands of a 10 year old boy genius
and a delusional goth rocker."
